A locksmith company in Portland, Oregon is donating a portion of their August profits to a local non-profit. Northwest Locksmith is making the donation to SE Works.
In addition, Northwest Locksmith is also offering a discount and then suggesting that their clients donate the equivalent of what they saved to SE Works, the Portland based nonprofit organization. Yair Frenkel, owner of Northwest Locksmith, says that it was easy to choose SE Works as the charity to help because Labor Day is coming up soon. SE Works helps Portland employers find job seekers. They have a good success rate placing job seekers who have special circumstances including at risk youth, the disabled, convicts and other unemployed adults.
Anyone who mentions Labor Day or SE Works will receive a 10% discount on all of their locksmith services. In addition to raising some money, Frenkel believes the offer will help build awareness of the SE Works organization and what it does.
Northwest Locksmith is available 24/7 within the Portland Metro area. They offer automotive, residential and commercial services.
